    1.  Bike Maintenance Course offered by MBRS UK LTD
MBRS can offer either a Basic or an Intermediate Bike Maintenance Course to teach you how to repair and maintain your own bikes. This hands on but informal course is supported by a 11 page handout with step by step instructions on how to fix the most common bike related issues. From fixing a puncture to tuning your gears – you’ll learn how to do it on your own bike under the instruction of a fully CyTech qualified mechanic with over 11 years experience working in the cycle industry. For background information please visit www.mbrsuk.com and for more information about the courses please contact Sam at MBRS UK LTD enquiries@mbrsuk.com on 01525 381021 OR 07736674410.
The courses cost £30 per attendee, per course.
The courses are held at either a local community centre in Leighton Buzzard but require a minimum of 4 attendees in order for the course to go ahead. Or if you would prefer MBRS can come to your own premises to deliver the courses to a small group of friends or a family of cyclists – a workspace area of approx 3m x 3m is ideal. “
    2. Weekly Sunday afternoon Bike Rides, 1.30pm from Church Square, LB.
Join a group of non-serious cyclists every Sunday afternoon at the Golden Bell Pub in Church Square for a 1.30pm start.  No one is left behind on the short and varied rides around Leighton Buzzard. The Regular Riders group decide a route to suit everyone who turns  up on the day. All abilities are welcome.
On the 24th January ride, there will also be a short and informal 25-30 minute showcase of some of the latest cycling and outdoor sport clothing and accessories for the Regular Rider ride. It's free to attend and there is no obligation to buy anything on the day but you're welcome to if you so wish!
For more information please contact Sam on: enquiries@mbrsuk.com, 07736674410

6. Help us to improve your regular Cycle Routes in Leighton-Linslade
Are there any routes that have bottlenecks or areas that need attention?
We would like to draw up a list of small (or larger) jobs that need doing in order to make the cycle routes that we already have in place the easiest, most enjoyable, most ride-able that they can be. Perhaps you have had difficulty riding your bike, tagalong, bike trailer, or even  pushing a pram or wheelchair past barriers, round trees, up slopes on any of the routes that you regularly use …...?
Any ideas, please send into GoCycle@leightonlinslade-tc.gov.uk . Write “Cycle Route Bottleneck” in the title.
